One of the wider-ranging variants, PernAngband adds a number of new classes, such as Runecrafters and Alchemists, and races, including Dragonriders and Ents. There are also monster eggs, musical instruments, gods to worship, fountains, new artifacts, multiple dungeons, true two-handed weapons, explosive ammunition, a new magic system, and maze levels.
