Available Ports
Zangband is currently available as a source code distribution and as
binary distributions for a number of operating systems. Note that we do
not normally distribute binaries for UNIX and LINUX operating systems
as these can vary considerably between installations. People using
these operating systems should download the source code and compile
Zangband themselves. Zangband will normally compile out of the box and
makefiles for most operating systems and many compilers are available
within the source code distribution.
Zangband has been successfully ported to the following systems:
- various flavors of UNIX
